Polymer80 Closed in 2024. Where to Buy P80 Frames and Parts in 2026

Polymer80 Inc. of Dayton, Nevada stopped operations in July 2024 and began liquidating. The company had spent years fighting lawsuits from Los Angeles, Baltimore, Philadelphia and other cities over untraceable firearms, then lost its main product category when the ATF frame-and-receiver rule took effect in August 2022. The settlements and legal costs finished it. There is no successor company and no factory support.

What it means if you own a Polymer80. Your frame still works and Gen 3 Glock parts still fit it. There is no warranty service, so a cracked rail module or worn jig is replaced by buying the part, not by sending it in. Replacement rail systems, rear rail modules and jigs are the items to buy now while dealer stock lasts, because nobody is making new ones.

What it means if you want to buy one. Everything on the market is existing inventory. Popular colours sell out and do not come back. Prices for complete PFS9 and PFC9 pistols have held steady; prices for PF940C and PF940v2 kits have gone up as stock thins. If you see the colour and model you want in stock, that is the time to buy.

How to spot a fake. Genuine frames have the Polymer80 name and model molded into the dust cover and a clean, even texture. Copies from overseas marketplaces often have soft mold lines, a wrong shade of FDE, and rail modules that are cast rather than machined. If a listing has no factory SKU and a price far below dealer cost, it is not Polymer80.

Legal status in 2026. The Supreme Court upheld the ATF frame-and-receiver rule in Bondi v. VanDerStok on 26 March 2025, so an 80% frame sold with its jig is a firearm federally: it ships to an FFL and you complete a background check.
