Polymer80 PF940C: Glock 19 Compatible Compact Frame Guide

The PF940C is Polymer80’s compact frame, the one most people mean when they say a P80 Glock 19. It uses the same slide length and magazine as a Glock 19 or 23 but with a flatter grip angle, a built-in beavertail, a larger trigger guard and aggressive texture. The Cv1 revision added a smoother grip and slightly reshaped magwell; both generations take the same parts.

Compatibility. Slide, barrel and lower parts kit from a Glock 19, 23 or 32 Gen 3. Gen 4 and Gen 5 parts do not fit because the trigger housing pin and locking block dimensions differ. Aftermarket Gen 3 pattern slides, including Polymer80’s own compact slide assemblies, drop straight on.

Finishing the frame. The kit includes the jig, two drill bits and an end mill. You remove the top rails and barrel block tabs with the end mill in a drill press or hand drill, then drill the three pin holes through the jig guides. Budget about an hour. Install the stainless locking block rail system and rear rail module, then the lower parts kit.

Magazines and holsters. Standard Glock 19 15-round magazines and Glock 17 magazines with a spacer. Holsters molded on a Glock 19 slide fit; frame-hugging holsters may need a warm-water refit around the larger trigger guard.

Is the PF940C the same size as a Glock 19?

Slide and magazine, yes. The frame itself is about 3 mm taller because of the beavertail and has a wider trigger guard, so it feels closer to a Glock 19X in the hand.
