Polymer80 PF940v2: Full-Size Glock 17 Compatible Frame Guide

The PF940v2 is the full-size frame in the Polymer80 line and the direct successor to the original PF940v1. It accepts Glock 17-length slides and the whole family of full-size Gen 3 parts. The v2 revision moved to a stainless locking block rail system and changed the grip texture and magwell; v1 rail sets do not fit a v2 frame.

Compatibility. Slides and barrels from a Glock 17, 22, 31, 34, 35, 24 or 17L Gen 3, plus a Gen 3 lower parts kit. Long-slide 34 and 35 slides overhang the dust cover slightly, which is normal. Gen 4 and Gen 5 parts do not fit.

Finishing the frame. Same process as the compact: mill the rails and barrel block tabs, drill the three pin holes through the jig. The full-size jig is longer and is not interchangeable with the PF940C jig. Kits ship with the jig, bits and end mill.

Magazines and holsters. Glock 17 17-round magazines, 33-round Glock 18 pattern magazines and all aftermarket Glock 17 pattern mags. Holsters cut for a Glock 17 slide fit.

PF940v2 vs PF940v1, what changed?

The v2 uses a stainless locking block rail system instead of the aluminum v1 rails, has a reshaped grip and magwell, and a revised jig. Parts are not cross-compatible between v1 and v2.
