Polymer80 PFS9: Serialized Full-Size Frame and Complete Pistol

The PFS9 is the serialized, factory-finished version of the PF940v2. It arrives as a regular firearm with a serial number, no machining, ready for a slide and lower parts kit, or as a complete 9mm pistol with Polymer80’s own slide and barrel. Because it is serialized it is not covered by the state bans on unfinished frames.

Compatibility. Glock 17 Gen 3 slides, barrels and lower parts. The complete pistol ships with a Polymer80 slide, barrel, sights, lower parts kit and magazine.

Finishing the frame. None required. The frame is finished at the factory. Assembly is the standard Glock lower parts install.

Magazines and holsters. Glock 17 pattern magazines. Glock 17 slide holsters fit; the PFS9 slide is Gen 3 pattern.

Buying from Delaware Firearms. Frames, lowers and complete pistols transfer through your licensed FFL dealer with a background check. Jigs, tools, slides and parts ship directly to you. Delaware has no sales tax. Complete PFS9 pistols are in Build Kits; bare serialized frames are in Frames.

Frequently asked questions

Is the PFS9 legal in states that ban 80% frames?

As a serialized frame it is a normal handgun under most state laws, but some states also maintain approved handgun rosters or feature limits. California in particular does not list it. Ask your FFL.

PFS9 vs Glock 17, which should I buy?

The PFS9 gives you the Polymer80 grip angle, beavertail and texture, and it takes Glock magazines and Gen 3 parts. The Glock 17 gives you factory support and a resale market. With Polymer80 out of business, spare PFS9 frames are the harder item to replace.
